Hey beauty blabbers!
Sorry for the gaps between posts but today I have brought you another review! This time it's of one of my favorite mascaras I've been using lately. I have used the Maybelline Falsies mascara for a pretty long time now but about a month ago I ran out of it and wanted to try something new. I had seen the commercials on television for this mascara and the wand looked kind of like Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara so I caved and bought the Revlon Photoready 3D Volume mascara and I absolutely love it!
Now usually when I purchase new mascaras I hate using them the first couple of times because the wand always comes out with a ton of product on it and of course it clumps my lashes and they just look gross. However, with this mascara that didn't happen. I was actually shocked when I pulled the wand and mascara out of the packaging and put it into the mascara that it came out with what looked like barely any product on it. So I put this bad boy up to my lashes and began applying it and to my surprise, no clumps! I do notice that the first coat barely looks like you have any mascara on but after another coat you're good to go! I just recently checked out the Revlon website about this mascara and they specifically say "Apply to lashes from root to tip" and "Apply once again to add more volume and length" I have tried 3 coats of this mascara but noticed that it started to look clumpy.
I would say I have pretty short lashes so I don't curl them because I can barely get them into the eyelash curler. This mascara makes my eyelashes look longer and stand out so it looks like I used one.
I can really coat each lash with this mascara and I can thank the wand for that one! It has a wand similar to Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara that I have been wanting but can't seem to justify spending over $10 for a mascara. This Revlon one was about $7 at Target. Anyway, here are a few images of the wonderful wand!
As you can see, the wand has bristles at the very top so that you can coat each lash. I have heard others say that the mascara starts to clump at the end of the wand but as I take the wand out of the tube of mascara I just wipe the tip on the top part of the tube just as it comes out so no clumping! I haven't noticed any flaking with this mascara either so far and I wear it everyday for about 12 hours.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this mascara to everyone! I believe there is also a waterproof version as well so be sure to check this out if you haven't already!!
